One of the most interesting features about the new Ford Focus RS is the new Drift Mode that it came with and it looks like Mercedes were so impressed with it that they too decided to offer the Drift Mode with their Mercedes-AMG E63 as well.
According to Mercedes-AMG chairman, Tobias Moers, the Mercedes-AMG E63 will no longer be a rear-drive model as they will be offering it with an all-wheel drive system only but they still wanted the E63 to feel like an E63 and that is where the drift mode comes in.
Mercedes added that with the new mode, their drivers will be able to shift all the engine power to the rear. The Mercedes-Benz E63 should be offering about 600hp when it arrives but Moers also hinted that there might also be a lower range model and an even higher range model.
The new Mercedes-AMG E63 will be making its debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show.
