2018 Mazda RX-9 vs Toyota Supra: Move Along, Nothing To See Here

With Toyota already working on the Toyota Supra, all we need was for Mazda to also start working on their Mazda RX-9 so that we can see these two battle it out on the track but sadly, Mazda choose to pull out from the fight before they even got started.

One of the reasons why so many people believe that Mazda was working on a Mazda RX-9 was because they announce that they already have a team of engineers working on their rotary engine. When you think of rotary engine, you will immediately think of the Mazda RX-9.

However, according to Mazda, they do not have any plans to build a sport car that is bigger than the Mazda MX-5 right now. Seeing as the MX-5 is the smallest they can offer, that means the RX-9 is not going to happen now.

Well, that is one less competitor for the Toyota Supra.
