Many people believe that the reason why the CX-4 never made it over is because there is just not enough space for the vehicle in the current US Mazda lineup. The Mazda CX-4 will have to come to sit in between the CX-3 and the CX-5 but with how close the two models are right now, there is just no space for the CX-4.
However, that might change soon as new report suggest that Mazda might be thinking about turning the Mazda CX-5 into a premium model. Not only does that mean that the Mazda CX-5 will be coming with a few more premium features but it also means that it will come with a bigger price tag.
If that happens, there might be a big enough gap between the Mazda CX-3 and the Mazda CX-5 to actually fit in the Mazda CX-4. Do you think Mazda should bring the CX-4 over?
The 2018 Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with an upgraded design that is based on the new Mazda CX-9. Fans are also hoping to see an engine upgrade but we will have to wait and see if that happens.
