Some Mazda fans were disappointed when Mazda announce that they will not be offering the new Mazda models with the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. While they did have a reason for not offering the support, some consumers were not too happy with Mazda for making that decision.
Some of the consumers have commented that while it is not a huge deal breaker, the fact that it does not come with one made them a little hesitant to get a new Mazda. Well, thanks to Google, the Android users will no longer have to worry whether Mazda is going to offer them the Android Auto support in the future or not.
Google has just released the new Android Auto app on their Google Store and they even followed it up with the OK Google update. Android users with a device that runs on the Android 5.0 and above can now download the app and run it on their phone. With the Ok Google feature, they won’t even have to manually tap on the microphone feature to activate the voice command.
