We understand why Mazda does not feel the need to offer their customers the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but with most of the other vehicles now coming with that support, some consumers might walk away from Mazda just because of that.
Luckily for them, Android users will now have an alternative thanks to Google. Google released their Android Auto app on their Google Store allowing all Android users to download it and run it on their smartphone device.
The app will work on any Android device that runs on the Android 5.0 and above. When the app was first released, the app did not come with the Google Now support which meant that users still had to manually click on the microphone if they want to use voice command but the app has been updated since then.
While this is a good alternative, the users are still hoping that Mazda would offer them the support soon. Do you think Mazda is making the right move here or are they chasing their customers away?
