Jeep has probably already decided on the final design for the Jeep Wrangler but to get to the final design, they would have to go through a lot more and that means there will be designs that did not make the cut.
The one you see on the top was one of the designs that did not make it to the end. While that means that we will not be seeing it at the end of this year when the new Jeep Wrangler arrives. That does not mean that we do not have any use for the prototype.
While the new Jeep Wrangler will not look anything like the one seen here, there will be some features that will make it to the final production model. Based on the spy shots we have seen, we know that the Jeep Wrangler will be getting a more aerodynamic design. That means steeper windscreen as well as a longer hood in the front.
The new Jeep Wrangler will also come with more aluminum parts to further reduce the weight of the vehicle.
