Some people already felt that the Jeep Cherokee was getting a little too close to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and things might only get worse as Jeep prepares to bring in the new Jeep Compass.
The Jeep Compass will come in to replace both the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot. Based on what we have seen so far, it is clear that the Jeep Compass will be heavily based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee model.
The Jeep Compass will come in to sit below the Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. At this rate, will the Compass eventually squeeze the Cherokee out of the picture?
Jeep will have to give the Jeep Cherokee a huge upgrade if they plan to keep it around for a little longer because it is looking pretty crowded over there right now.
The 2017 Jeep Compass will be coming in with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine. There is also a 2.4-liter engine option. The base model will return about 23mpg in the city and 30mpg on the highway.
