You would think that after an upgrade, the Corvette should be able to give the Mustang a run for its money but it looks like that is not going to happen.
It has been reported that Chevrolet might be working on a new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that will be offering more power. After the upgrade, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 should be able to offer 50hp more than the most powerful Corvette right now which means it will be offering close to 700hp but is that enough?
We know that the 2018 Ford Mustang GT500 will be offering about 800hp when it finally arrives. In fact with that kind of performance, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 might even have problems taking on the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The current Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat can deliver about 707hp but it is believed that Dodge is looking to upgrade the Challenger so that it can offer more in the near future.
