We all got a good look at the upcoming Ford Mustang Convertible as Ford showed it off this week. From what we can see, the new convertible model will look just like the coupe without a top.
Like the coupe, the Ford Mustang convertible will be getting an updated front, new headlights, new grille shape as well as a lowered hood. While we do think that there is some charm to it, other seems to think that Ford messed this one up.
The 2018 Ford Mustang convertible will be running on the 2.3 liter EcoBoost four cylinder engine. There is also a 5.0 liter V8 engine option for those looking for a little more. The engines will be paired with a 10-speed auto transmission.
Other new features that we will be seeing on the new convertible includes the Pre-Collision Assist, active exhaust as well as the MagneRide suspension. If you are hoping that you will see this at the Detroit Auto Show, you will be very disappointed.
