The Ford Ranger will be coming back to the US but it will not be coming alone. It has been reported that Ford plans to bring back the Ford Bronco as well and that the new Ford Bronco will be build base on the Ford Ranger. Some people believe that since it is based on the Ranger, the SUV will not offer them any surprise when it arrives.
Even thought the Ford Ranger was taken out from the US market, the truck was still being sold in a few other markets like Australia and in Australia, there is already an SUV that is based on the Ford Ranger called the Ford Everest.
Some poeple believe that the Ford Bronco will just end up being a Ford Everest clone and that we will be getting the exact same model here in the US. While the upcoming Bronco and Everest will both be based on the Ranger, the Bronco will be coming in with a shortened version of the T6 platform and that means it will not look like the Everest when it arrives.
