It is clear that FCA is in love with their SRT Hellcat engine. We’ve already seen them fit it onto the Challenger and Charger. The engine also made its way to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and now it looks like the Dodge Durango might be the next model to receive the special treatment.
According to the spies, the Dodge Durango test mule that was spotted out in the open sounded a lot like the Charger and Challenger with the Hellcat engine. They also pointed out that the front fascia suggests a more aggressive engine under the hood.
If FCA does decide to fit the Durango with the Hellcat engine, we might see it coming with a 6.4 liter V8 engine that FCA is also using to power up the upcoming Grand Cherokee SRT model.
With the engine, we could see the Dodge Durango deliver close to 707hp when it arrives in 2018. What do you think?
