We will be seeing the new 2018 BMW M5 this year and while BMW has not revealed much about the vehicle, BMWBlog does seems to have a better idea of what to expect from BMW when the time comes.
According to BMWBlog, the BMW M550i xDrive will be coming in with a twin-turbo V8 engine that will be offering about 600hp. The engine will be mated to a dual-clutch transmission and will only need 3.5 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
That is not all the upgrade we will be seeing, they also added that the BMW M5 will be coming in with a new mode that will allow it to drift with a push of a button. Based on all of these speculations, it looks like Mercedes and their AMG E63 might want to watch out.
The new 2018 BMW M5 should be making its official debut this year.
