The long wheeled based Volkswagen Tiguan that Volkswagen showed off in China was amazing. Not only did it offer a whole lot more interior space but it also came with a stunning exterior design so when Volkswagen announce that the long wheeled base model will not only be sold in China, the people were ecstatic.
However, it looks like things might not be as rosy as we think it is. Although Volkswagen will indeed be offering the Volkswagen Tiguan here in the US, the US version will come with a few exterior upgrade.
Some people have already spotted the LWB model here in the US and looking at it, we can’t helo but feel like Volkswagen might have messed up the design this time. It looks nowhere near as impressive as the Chinese version.
The new long wheelbase Volkswagen Tiguan will be manufactured in Mexico and should be coming in as a 2017 or 2018 model.
