If what we saw in Tokyo ends up being the actual production model, we think that popular models like the Honda Civic and Ford Focus will have to watch their back because we will be expecting a full on beauty war.
That is if Subaru manages to keep their word and come out with a production model that actually looks like the concept it is based on. Subaru was at the Tokyo Motor Show where they showed off the new Subaru Impreza 5 Door concept. The name itself revealed the production model it will become.
There was no mention of the engine that Subaru will be using to power up the Subaru Impreza but there were talks about it being a 2.0-liter engine. The type of engine is also a mystery but it has been speculated that it could be a Levorg engine.
Honda Civic and Ford Focus will be facing one tough rival if all these rumors ended up being true.
