We know that Subaru has the habit of not sticking to the concept when it comes to the production model. That is why most people predicted that the Subaru Impreza will arrive looking nothing like the Subaru 5-Door concept that they showed off previously.
The Subaru 5-Door concept was showed off at the Tokyo Motor Show and at that time, Subaru announced that the concept will be the based design for the new Subaru Impreza. As much as we liked the concept, we did not dare hope that it would actually make it to the production model.
Subaru ended up carrying forward most of the design features. They did make a few changes but overall, the Subaru Impreza new design matches what they’ve shown us on the concept.
The new Subaru Impreza will be coming in with a 2.0 liter flat four engine that will be delivering about 152hp, a slight jump from the 148hp that they were offering previously.
