It looks like the Mazda CX-9 will be taking smaller sips of petrol when it arrives as new reports show that the Mazda CX-9 will come with an improve fuel economy. So how much better is the Mazda CX-9 now?
Well, the Mazda CX-9 EPA rating has not been announced yet but according to NRCan, the 2017 Mazda CX-9 will come with 35% better fuel economy compared to the previous model.
It is estimated that the Mazda CX-9 will be returning about 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway with its 2.5 liters four cylinder engine. The engine will be delivering about 227hp and will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The Mazda CX-9 will come in both FWD and AWD option.
The 2017 model should also come with safety features like radar cruise control, auto high beam control and more. The 2017 Mazda CX-9 is expected to retail for $31,000.
