The Mazda CX-5 has always been one of the top-selling SUV in the market but the Acura RDX and the Volvo XC60 was never really threatened by it just because they were not in the same segment but now that new reports are suggesting that Mazda is looking to push the Mazda CX-5 into the premium market, maybe they should start worrying now.
We know that the upcoming 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with a new upgraded exterior. There were also talks about it going premium which could mean better interior quality, better tech, and features as well as improve performance. Going premium will also mean that the Mazda CX-5 might come with a bigger price tag.
The upcoming Mazda CX-5 will be getting a new design based on the CX-9 but it is said that the design might not be the only thing the CX-5 will be grabbing. There were also talks about the new engine making its way to the Mazda CX-5 as well but take that with a pinch of salt of you can.
