Most automakers are working on getting the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support to their customers right now so it is odd that Mazda still feels that the update is not necessary for their Mazda models.
Like the other Mazda models, the Mazda 6 will also be coming in without the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and while the infotainment system itself is not going to be the deciding factor for many not having it does make the Mazda models seem a little outdated.
With all the convenience these system offers, most people would want to have the option to sync their smartphone to the vehicle so Mazda choosing not to have them is definitely not the smartest thing they could have done.
Would you choose to buy a brand new model if it does not come with the Android Auto or Apple CarPlay support?
