We knew that the current Mazda 3 design was an exact copy of the Mazda Axela that Mazda released in Japan so it is safe to say that the upcoming new Mazda 3 will most likely look just like the upgrade Mazda Axela in Japan as well.
Well, the brochure for the Mazda Axela has been leaked online. If the Mazda 3 were to get the same design as the Mazda Axela, then we all should already know how the upcoming Mazda 3 will look like.
Based on the brochure, it is clear that the Mazda 3 will be coming in with a new grille and head lights, Mazda also made some changes to the bumper as well. The Mazda Axela was also fitted with a new set of turning lights.
Besides showing off the design, the brochure also revealed that the Mazda Axela will be powered by a 1.5-liter Skyactiv-D engine. It seems like the 2.2 liter Diesel engine as the 1.5-liter petrol Skyactiv-G will also be offered as well. A Hybrid Petrol option was also listed so that is another upgrade we can look forward to.
