The Mazda 3 will be getting a makeover soon but not before their twin in Japan gets one. The current Mazda 3 was based on the Mazda Axela in Japan which means the upcoming model should follow the design of the new Mazda Axela as well.
Thanks to the images of the leaked Mazda Axela brochure, we now know how the upcoming Mazda 3 would look like after the upgrade. From what we can see from the brochure, it looks like the Mazda 3 will be getting an upgraded front which will include a new grille as well as a headlight. The bumper was also modified and it will also be fitted with a set of turning lights this time.
The brochure also reveals that the vehicle will be fitted with a Skyactiv-D 1.5 liter diesel engine. Other engine options include a 2.2liter diesel, a 1.5-liter petrol Skyactiv-G as well as a SkyActiv Hybrid petrol-electric engine.
