With the kind of success the Porsche Cayenne had, we were not surprise when the Porsche Macan shot to the top the moment it arrived but they should not be getting too comfy because Jaguar is looking to challenge them for the top spot.
The Porsche Macan will be coming in with a 2.0-liter engine that will be mated to a seven speed dual clutch transmission. The engine will be delivering abotu 252hp and 273lb ft of torque. The Macan EPA is rated at 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
The Jaguar F-Pace will be powered by a 2.0 liter I-4 engine that will be delivering about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque and will be mated to an eight speed auto tranmsision. Details like its fuel economy have not been announced yet but we do know that the F-Pace will be coming in with safety features like stability control, tire pressure monitor and traction control.
The Porsche Macan will retail for $47,500 while the Jaguar F-Pace will retail for $40,990. Who do you think will win this year?
