Jaguar might be late to the SUV party but that also means that Jaguar had more time to observe and find out what works and what does not before building their Jaguar F-Pace.
Jaguar describes the F-Pace as an on-road focus model but is also off-road competent, however, it is still far from matching what the Discovery will be offering.
The Jaguar F-Pace will be coming in with the Jaguar with a 2.0 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed shiftable automatic and will retail for $40,990. There is also a 3.0 liter V6 Supercharger engine option that will be delivering about 340hp.
The Jaguar F-Pace have a ground clearance of 2113mm with a wading depth of 520mm. The Land Rover Discovery, on the other hand, will come with a 212mm ground clearance and 700mm of wading depth.
