The truck that got the prestigious 2016 Truck of the Year award from Motortrend last year was the Chevrolet Colorado. So who will take over the crown this year?
Well, among all the trucks that got shortlisted, it is all down to the Ford F-150, Ford Super Duty as well as the Honda Ridgeline right now. The Ford F-150 will be coming in with a 282hp engine that will be returning about 19mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The new EcoBoost V6 engine and 10-speed transmission will help the truck score some extra brownie points.
The there is the popular Ford Super Duty truck which comes with a 925lb ft of torque and is capable of towing an impressive 32,500pounds. While most people don’t think the Honda Ridgeline deserves to be here, it is and it might even win the whole thing.
