2017 Honda Ridgeline Not Wanted By Truck Drivers

Despite what Honda is calling it, a lot of people still do not see the Honda Ridgeline as a truck because of its lack of off-road capabilities. That might be true but Honda has made it clear from the start that the truck was made so that those looking to have a vehicle with additional trunk space can have one.

The Honda Ridgeline was never going to compete with the tough off-road trucks in the market but that does not mean that is is not a truck. To be fair, a fair amount of off-road real truck won’t get to see the off-road either.

The Honda Ridgeline will be coming in with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 280hp and 262lb ft of torque and has a towing capacity of 5000lbs.

The Honda Ridgeline will be returning about 18mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. It can go from 0-60mph in 6.6.seconds and has a top speed of 112mph.
