When poeple were still sepcualting about the Honda CR-V design, it was suggested that the upcoming Honda CR-V would end up looking like the Honda Pilot and that Honda plans to carry over some of the Pilot’s design features but it looks like that won’t be happening.
Instead of the Honda Pilot, it looks like Honda will be design the Honda CR-V based on the Honda Civic instead. The Honda Civic with its new design was very well receive and using it to design the Honda CR-V will give the CR-V a fresher and younger vibe.
The Honda CR-V will be fitted with a similar grille, headlight and trailight design. It will also be riding on the same platform as the Honda Civic. Under the hood is a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine. There is also a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine.
It is believe that the Honda CR-V will be making its debut later this year at the LA Auto Show.
