More often than not, the fuel economy of the vehicle on paper does not match what it has to offer in real life and that is where Real-World MPG like the one from MotorTrend comes in handy. MotorTrend tested out a few vehicle and reveal what the Honda CR-V is capable of offering in real life.
According to the test result, the Honda CR-V will be able to return about 21.9 mpg in the city. On paper, the Honda CR-V was supposed to return about 27mpg in the city and 33mpg on the highway. Even with that huge of a gap, the Honda CR-V is managed to claim the second place beating 7 other models.
The Honda CR-V will be coming in with a 1.5-liter turbo four engine that will be offering about 190hp. There is also a 2.4 liter I-4 engine option as well. The Honda CR-V has always been known for being a fast and powerful SUV but it times, it only got seconds sitting behind the Jeep Cherokee.
