The GMC Acadia will be coming in with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will deliver about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque and will be returning about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The Acadia will also come with a few new features like the dual skyscape sunroof, 8inch display screen which will both be offered as optional features.
The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, will be running on a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque and will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. The Highlander will come fitted with standard safety features like emergency brake assist, glass breakage sensor, dusk sensing headlights and more.
The GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995 while the Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228.
