The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and will return about 27mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway. The Mazda MX-5 Miata might have a smaller engine but it only weighs in at 2332lbs.
The Ford Mustang base model will retail for $23,782 while the Mazda MX-5 Miata will retail for $23,563.
