2017 Ford F-250 vs Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD: The Real Battle

While most people has their eyes on the compact truck and mid-size truck segment, let’s not forget about the real trucks here. Which model do you think is the better truck, the Ford F-250 or the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.

The Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will be running on the 6.0 liter V8 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 360hp and 380lb ft of torque. The Silverado 2500HD will also come fitted with features like DRL, dusk sensing headlights as well as tire pressure monitor.

The Ford F-250 will be running on a 6.2 liter V8 engine that will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission. Besides standard features like the power steering, all season tires and 17inch wheels, the F-250 will also come with safety features like dusk sensing headlights, post-collision safety system as well as tire pressure monitor.

The Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will retail for $56,905 while the Ford F-250 will retail for $55,455.
