Even with what the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has to offer right now, taking on a Hellcat-powered model is not going to be easy. While it has not been confirmed yet, some people seems to believe that Ram will be turning their Rebel TRX Concept into a production model. If that is true, the Rebel TRX will come in to compete with the Ford F-150 Raptor.
The Rebel TRX concept came with a 6.2 liter supercharged Hemi V8 engine that will allow the vehicle to hit about 100mph. With an engine like that, the Ford F-150 Raptor might have really felt the heat.
The current 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor comes in with a new turbo engine. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 turbo engine that will be delivering about450hpa nd 510lb ft of torque. The current model is 39hp more powerful than the previous model and delivers 76lb ft more torque.
