At last Mazda is releasing a configurator for its much improved sports car even though the first bunch of 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miatas are at the dealers already.
The Club, Sports and Grand Touring trims are the Miatas to see the big equipment changes and overall the choices have stayed minimal. The biggest exeption is exclusive for the Club version and is the Brembo/BBS packagewhich comes at $3,400. It comes with a rear bumper skirt, side sill extensions, keyless entry and Brembo front brakes.
For $1,200 you can include the Appearance package for the sport which comes with side sill extensions, rear bumper skirt and a front air dam. For another $130 you can also have keyless tech.
There are also a number of things you can include to the appearance of the Mazda convertible. You can choose between a black of body color rear lip spoiler for $350, and for $300 you can have Soul Red Metallic paint. You can have front and rear paint for protection at a cost of $125, the wheel locks come at a price of $55, for $50 you can include a cargo net and %90 gets you all-weather floor mats.
We selected all the applicable boxes on the trim mentioned above, and after the $820 destination charge that all the models have, the pricetag is increased from $28,600 to $33,790. Have fun building your vehicle!
