At the moment Lexus are busy developing the RX Facelift and this new model will arrive on the market later in the year. Even though it is a mid-cycle refresh, it’s been said that the new RX Facelift will come with a good share of upgrades.
To begin with, the appearance of the future RX350 and RX450 will be completely different. On a more important note, the performance rate of the RX Facelift will be far better than what the current RX models offer us.
The reason for this is that the RX Facelift is built with aluminium. Lexus have made it well known that they dropped the weight of the RX Facelift by using aluminium. With the vehicle weighing less, it will be more optimized for power and have better fuel efficiency.
Lexus have obviously not released any performance figures for the RX Facelift yet. When the completed RX Facelift is launched over the next few months, we will no doubt find out more.
