Well, the last thing you want when driving around is to have your hood open up while you are driving.
Hyundai and Kia will both be issuing a recall to recall back some of their models after it was reported that their hood latch might not be doing the job of actually holding down the hood.
Kia will be recalling the 2006 -2014 Kia Sedona build between the 15th of June 2005 and the 4th of April 2014. A total of 219,800 units will be affected. Hyundai, on the other hand, will issue a recall to recall back the 2016 Hyundai Tuscon that was build from the 19th of May 2015 to the 14th of March 2016. The recall will affect 81,000units in total.
According to the report, the secondary hood latch is not able to secure the hood in place causing the hood to open up while driving. Affected models will be getting a secondary hood latch replacement.
