Ford had it easy when they first release the Ford Mustang back in 2014. The Chevrolet Camaro at that time was no match for Ford as it has already been around for some time but things are different now. Chevrolet is more than ready to take the fight to Ford with the arrival of their new Chevrolet Camaro.
We were a little disappointed with the changes Chevrolet made to the exterior design of the Camaro. If the kind of upgrade the Ford Mustang received, we were expecting the Camaro to come with a bigger upgrade but that did not happen.
Since we are comparing the top muscle cars in the market, the best way to see which model is more superior is to look at the top of the range model. The Chevrolet Camaro SS will be coming in with an LT1 V8 engine that will be pushing out about 455hp which is not much when compared with the 5.2-liter V8 engine that the Ford Shelby GT will be running on. The engine delivers about 526hp and 429lb ft of torque and will be paired with a six-speed transmission.
However, it is also important to note that the Camaro SS is smaller and lighter which means things could be more even than what the numbers are indicating. Who do you think deserve to be the winner?
