It was initially believed that the slow Chevrolet Colorado sales were because of the missing diesel model that Chevrolet promised when they unveiled the Chevrolet Colorado.
Due to the whole diesel scandal and some other issue, Chevrolet had to delay the release of the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax model. We were expecting to see the numbers change when Chevrolet release the diesel model but things did not look much different when the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax arrived at the dealers earlier this year.
Chevrolet has now announce that they will be upgraded a second production plant so that they can increase the production rate of the Chevrolet Colorado. The production rate was always believed to be one fo the reason why Colorado seems to be trailing behind the Tacoma despite everything else as customers have reported that they have been having a hard time trying to get themselves one of these Colorados. Maybe this will help make things better for them.
