Toyota is expected to launch the next Prius early next year and it there already a lot of anticipation for it. However, production has suffered an unexpected delay which will see the Prius coming only in December 2015.
The issue is with Toyota, which is not satisfied with the Prius’ fuel consumption. While some insiders might say that the upcoming Prius recorded improvement with its gas mileage, Toyota is still no satisfied with the achievement and demand for more.
At the moment, Toyota is working on the Prius’ powertrain as the bid to make the car an ultimate fuel saver.
Word has it that Toyota is aiming at 10% improvement from the previous model. If this is true, then we can expect the vehicle to be a fast-seller when it goes global in 2016. Then again, this is still a speculation and best taken with a pinch of salt. It could also be a cheap marketing technique from Toyota.
