The Hilux has always been one of the best pickup truck from Toyota, thanks to its dependability, affordability and sheer raw power. This is enough to justify Toyota’s decision to update the Hilux with a successor next year.
The upcoming Hilux will get some massive improvements to its design. In detail, the pickup truck will be inspired by the Corolla cum Highlander grille in the front. The grille will be split by a horizontal chrome bar which is similar to other Toyota vehicles.
Furthermore, the Hilux will also have a wider body. This is to fit the 2.5 liter and/or 3.0 liter Diesel engine and maybe even a range topping 4.0 liter petrol V6.
When the next Hilux gets released next year, it will be competing with the Mazda BT50, Volkswagen Amarok, Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger and more.
