It is no secret that Subaru is producing a Facelift model for the Subaru XV Crosstrek and today, we have got more information on what the upcoming crossover has got to offer after the Japanese carmaker teased on the next-gen Subaru Impreza.
For starters, the XV Crosstrek Facelift will be built on the same platform with the upcoming Subaru Impreza. The latter is said to come with better aerodynamics, partly owed to the new spoiler that rest at the tail of the vehicle. Also, the metal sheets that shape the Impreza are now denser and thicker to help insulate tyre and wind noise.
The sporty sedan will equipped with features like reversing camera and EyeSight, which enables the Impreza to cruise automatically through relying on a radar-liked sensor.
Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by the 110kW/196Nm 2.0-litre boxer engine that is mated to either the six-speed manual or CVT auto transmissions. Picking the manual will return 7.1L/100km while the CVT returns 6.8L/100km.
Like mentioned before, the Impreza and the XV Crosstrek Facelift will be sharing the same blueprint. As such, it is safe to assume that the latter is going to be more fuel economic, powerful and stylish than before.
