2015 MacBook Pro: Intel Skylake Won’t Happen

Come next month, Apple will be launching the next-gen MacBook Pro. The rumours are rife in indicting that the laptop is going to come with Intel Skylake on board. However, this doesn’t look like happening at all.

This is because Intel is still pending to release their first ever 14nm nanochips. The Skylake will only be ready later this month and it can’t be integrated on the MacBook Pro.

The fault is with Apple as the company sees a need to unveil the finalized product at WWDC. The annual tech event has already come to a conclusion and it saw the MacBook Pro coming with Broadwell instead.

This is a bummer as Skylake can tremendously improve on the performance of the MacBook Pro. Furthermore, Skylake can offer high-end graphics as well as 4K technology. Well, Skylake can still feature on the MacBook Pro but only on the 2016 model.
