The Paris Motor Show will be taking place next month but Kia has skipped the wait and decided to let out more details on the upcoming Sorento.
For starters, the Sorento will be an SUV that will mass produce next year and it will retail from £27,000. Kia further revealed that the Sorento will be quiet, comfortable and also sturdier than ever. Its rigid and strong steel frame will rival those on the Volvo XC90.
Also, the Sorento comes with features like Active cruise control, lane-departure, blind spot and front collision warning assist plus speed limit recognition that will enhance the driving experience.
The Sorento is also very generous with its space. The SUV can provide the ultimate comfort thanks to its large build. In detail, the Sorentoo is 95mm longer than the Mk2 car at 4,780mm, with most of that growth contained within a wheelbase that is 80mm up at 2,780mm. Also, the car has a lower roof which gives it more dynamics.
The Sorento will be offered with 5 different engines to choose from. The eye candy of them is the 2.2L turbocharged diesel as it is expected to be the most efficient of them all.
Then again, more details are pending to get released and we can expect to hear them when the Paris Motor Show commenced in October 19.
