The Easter Jeep Safari event is right around the corner and only then we will find out what the 2015 Wrangler will be like. However, Jeep teased the fans by adding 3 new concepts to its line-up while hinting that one of them will be the highly anticipated 4×4.
The first is known as the Wrangler Level Red. Named after the red accents on its black paint job, the vehicle comes with 2-inch lift kit, Dana 44 crate axles on the front and rear with a 4:10 ratio, a 3.6-liter V6 with a 6sp manual transmission, 17-inch alloys in 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires as well as Tuscany Katzkin leather seats.
Then, there is the Wrangler Mojo which is identical to the Level Red. Of course, this is except for the fact that the MOJO comes with 4-doors and a bright orange paint job.
Then again, it is the Wrangler Maximum Performance that should be getting all the attention. The premium 4×4 will have 4-doors and comes with Mopar-blue paint. Also, it will be equipped with features like the push-button electric-locking Dana 60 axles at the front and rear, 4.88 gearing and 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, 4-inch lift and 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain rubber.
The features of the Wrangler Maximum Performance certainly put the odds in its favour to be the 2015 Jeep Wrangler. However, it is still best to wait for the Easter Jeep Safari event for the full confirmation.
