The Wrangler from Jeep has long existed as something sturdy and durable but soon, it is going to go change into something softer. The American-carmaker is considering using aluminium for the next Wrangler and it raised some concerns for the hardcore vehicle.
On the other hand, utilizing aluminium will drastically reduce the weight of the Wrangler, thus, improving efficiency and performance. However, it could have some undesirable effects when going off-road as the rough environment could leave a dent on an aluminium body.
Aside from that, the Wrangler will look to offer better aerodynamics as it looks to come with a raked nose and windscreen. The 4×4 will be powered by the four-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Next year will look to be an exciting year if you are a Jeep fan as the carmaker will also be releasing the Jeep Renegade. The latter will be replacing the compact Compass and Patriot.
