It is no secret that Ford is producing a new Mustang and it is due to arrive next year. While it has already been teased on how the all-American muscle car will look like, we have now got pictures on other Mustang prototypes that have failed to take the leap.
There are two designs that hit the scrapyard and they were posted by Chris Doane. In the single image, one can easily spot three different Mustangs standing side-by-side. Apparently, it is the middle one that was chosen by Ford with the other two being eliminated.
All three vehicles totally differ from each other in terms of design and we feel that the confirmed Mustang should have taken some design cues from the other two. Then again, this depends on the user’s preferences.
Nevertheless, it is still sad to see the other two designs getting axed for production. On the other hand, we can still trust Ford to deliver a mind blowing Mustang next year as what matters most is the powertrain under the hood.
