Back in the 90s, cars can be distinguished by their country of make. Today however, most cars are almost alike to one another. The latest Ford Edge is a perfect example of this as it looks so much like the Hyundai Santa Fe.
The Edge Concept has just been unveiled and it is truly an attractive Crossover to own. The SUV is slightly bigger than the EcoSport compact crossover and Kuga midi-SUV. Also, it will be released next year.
Word has it that the Edge Concept is made out of the new Mondeo/Fusion platform. The result is an extremely sleek SUV that also features BMW style grille in its front. Speaking of which, Ford also added in their Active Grille Shutters. This superb tech will help maintain the engine temperature while increasing the aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside the cabin, there is a 10” touchscreen display which comes with ord’s Voice Control functions and the Ford SYNC. Beneath the screen lies the various buttons to control the many functions in the car.
Being a Ford vehicle, the Edge will also enjoy Fully Assisted Parking Aid and an Obstacle Avoidance system. The first functions help drivers get in and out of the parking lot. As for the latter, it assists in ensuring that the car stops whenever it is getting too close to the vehicles surrounding it.
