When it comes to pretty SUVs, there is no challenging the Ford Edge. Next year, the American carmaker will be launching the next generation Edge and it is going to be prettier than ever.
For starters, Ford will be equipping the Edge with the latest technology like adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, collision warning with brake support, active park assist, glove box-mounted airbag system, hands-free liftgate, 80 degree front camera with washer and an inflatable rear safety belts.
The eye candy of them all is the new set of redesigned suspension that will ease the bumps on the rough roads while also acting as a noise insulator.
The Edge will be offered in 4 trims and they are the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. There are three types of engine that consumers can choose from and they are the 2.0L Ecoboost four cylinder engine, the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 or the 3.5L V6 engine. Regardless of the engine, consumers will have to make do with the 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Ford Edge will be making its debut next year in the US, before getting shipped worldwide.
