2015 Ford Edge: Beauty Goes High-Tech

A couple of year ago, Ford launched Edge and it is one of the finest SUV in history. Next year, a new Edge is going to get released and it will look to better its predecessor in styling, performance and efficiency.

Yesterday, we got more details on what the upcoming Edge has got to offer. For starters, the SUV is built with adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, collision warning with brake support, active park assist, glove box-mounted airbag system. Hands free liftgate, 180 degree front camera with washer and inflatable rear safety belts.

Furthermore, the Edge is going to sport new and improved suspensions that will ensure a smooth drive, regardless of the many potholes. Aside from that, the SUV will be equipped with an adaptive electric steering that is paired to the self-parking feature. This will also enhance the vehicle’s agility on the road.

There are four different trims and three different engine options for the Edge. They are discovered to be the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. The motors, on the other hand, are the the 2.0liter Ecoboost four cylinder engine, the 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 and the 3.5 liter V6 engine. Also, there is a 6-speed automatic transmission that will operate the engine.
