2015 Chevy Colorado Will Reign Supreme In Pickup Truck Segment!

We are weeks away from the launching of the Chevrolet Colorado. The highly anticipated pickup truck will be looking to dominate its segment with its stylish design, power and efficiency.

At a glance, the Colorado looks younger than its predecessor. Chevrolet revealed that they will be offering the Colorado in two variants, the extended cab and the crew cab configuration. The former is equipped with a six foot bed while the latter has only 5 foot of bed.

Furthermore, the Colorado will come with a two-tier loading system that will enhance the vehicle loading capacity. The Colorado also has a rack to offer but that is something optional.

Under the hood, consumers can choose from three engine options with two of them being a petrol mill while the third motor runs on diesel. The basic model is powered by a 2.5L inline-four cylinder mill that offers 200hp. The higher level Colorado runs on the 3.6L V6 engine that produces 305hp. Then there is the 2.8 liter I-4 Duramax Turbo Diesel which will only be available in 2016.

Regardless of which engine powers the Colorado, they will all be operated by a 6-speed transmission. The all-American pickup truck will be retailing at $20,995 and will look to rival the Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier and Honda Ridgeline when it gets released.
