Pickup trucks are declining in popularity and it could be due to the lack of choices in the segment. Soon, a new compact pickup truck will be released and it is the Chevrolet Colorado.
The vehicle will look to arrive in 2015 and it will surely be an instant hit. After all, most other pickup trucks are either outdated or simply not good enough.
The next Colorado will come with reinforced steel frame that will ensure durability. The truck will be offered with the choice of 2 different petrol engines and a possible diesel engine. In detail, it could be the 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine and the 3.6L V6 engine.
Also, the Colorado will come with a two-tier loading system that will multiply the number of gears that the truck can load. Then again, the rack is still an optional feature.
Inside the cabin, there is an 8”touchscreen infotainment system mated to the dashboard. The system runs on MyLink Software and it also shares live fuel consumption stats and many more. There are six airbags included in the Colorado and among them is a head side curtain airbag.
Chevrolet will be looking to release the Colorado in fall this year before mass producing it in early next year.
