Apple has already unveiled the next-gen MacBook Pro and it confirms that the laptop is going to run on Intel’s Broadwell nanochips. However, there is still a chance for Apple to drop Broadwell and give Skylake a surprise entry on the upcoming MacBook Pro.
According to the latest rumours surrounding the device, Apple is still keen on seeing the MacBook Pro running on Skylake. This is because Skylake is capable of performing faster than other nanochips while also being more energy efficient.
Since Skylake won’t be ready until next-week, Apple has decided to wait for the nanochips to get released by Intel. Meanwhile, the show off the Broadwell MacBook Pro to cover WWDC.
While it all sounds exciting, the above is still based on rumours and it should be taken with a pinch of salt. The way we see it, there is no chance for Skylake to make its debut on the upcoming MacBook Pro.
