It was only a couple of weeks ago when Honda’s luxury arm, Acura, launched the TLX and today, the Japanese carmaker is recalling the vehicle. A study by NTHSA revealed that the TLX came with incorrect labels that can be hazardous to the consumers.
In detail, the organization revealed that the TLX has a label that tells the incorrect gross weight rating and incorrect vehicle gross axle weight specification. If one is to follow the label, they could overload the car, thus increasing the risk of bursting the tyres that can be fatal to the driver.
Those who already purchased the TLX should head down to the nearest Honda service centre immediately. On the bright side of things, the fix is as simple as changing the sticker labels so the car doesn’t have to spend hours or days at the workshop.
